When was your business established? 

I have been in the insurance industry for 15 years and have owned my American Family Agency for 2 years.

I have always dreamed of having my own agency.  I researched American Family Insurance and decided this would be my opportunity with a great company to fulfill my dream.

What is unique about your business that you feel distinguishes you among others offering similar products or services?

We know all of our customers personally.  We want to be a part of their milestones,  watch their children grow and make sure that they are protected in the event of a loss.  We care about them as if they were family and treat them that way. 

Personal Information (Optional):

I have been married for 17 years and have 3 children, all in the Bothell schools!  Nate is 16 and goes to Bothell High,  Becca is 13 and attends Canyon Park JHS and Aaron, who is 5, is in Kindergarten at Westhill Elementary. I have been a part of the Bothell Chamber for 1 ½ years and in my free time,  I am also involved in Eastside Women in Business.  I am also so proud to be helping to form a non-profit organization called Project Homezone that is dedicated to helping domestic violence victims get the help they need in our community.   

My favorite color is red and I am a Cheetos addict!  I think they should be included in the food pyramid! 

Something I am most proud of in my life, besides my wonderful children, is achieving a lifelong dream of losing weight.  I had lap-band surgery 6 years ago and have taken off 130 pounds, successfully keeping it off for the last 4.  My passion is to inspire other people to change their lives, live healthier and happier and achieve their goals.
