Founded in 1990, the University of Washington Bothell was created to bring the world-renowned University of Washington traditions of academic excellence to residents of the growing Puget Sound region. While we primarily serve citizens in North King and Snohomish counties, our student body is composed of a dynamic and diverse group of students from around the state, the nation and the world.

An accredited unit of the University of Washington by the Northwest Association of Schools and Universities, UW Bothell is home to more than 2,800 students who are enrolled in graduate and undergraduate programs. All curricula is carefully designed to inspire creative thinking and learning, incorporate national trends in higher education and turn knowledge into action. Hands-on, contextualized learning experiences and cooperative teamwork are emphasized in all of our academic programs.

Tell us something that would surprise people about your business:
UW Bothell was first housed in a business complex in Canyon Park. Its current location was once home to the 500-acre, purebred cattle Boone-Truly Ranch.
